Count how far a stay runs past the date you were permitted to leave by, or how many days are still left before it. The permitted date is inclusive: leaving on that day is not an overstay.

What this tool does not tell you
DAYOZA counts days. It does not publish penalties, fines, re-entry bans or any other consequence of an overstay, because those depend on the country, the circumstances and the decision of the authority involved, and stating them without a verified source would be worse than saying nothing. If this calculation shows an overstay, contact the relevant immigration authority, or your nearest embassy or consulate, before you travel.
